Jason Kokrak and Kevin Na birdied 12 of their last 13 holes Sunday in fourballs and closed with a 12-under 60 to rally from at three-shot deficit and win the QBE Shootout. Kokrak and Na were five shots behind after a bogey on the par-3 fifth hole when they ran off nine straight birdies, seven of them by Na. And then it was Kokrak’s turn down the stretch, and he finished off the one-shot victory with a 6-foot birdie putt.
Billy Horschel chipped in for birdie from near the water hazard as he and Sam Burns shot 61 to finish one shot behind.
Marc Leishman holed out for eagle for the second straight day as he and Jason Day posted an 8-under 64 in the modified alternate shot format Saturday to build a three-shot lead in the QBE Shootout. Leishman made eagle on the 10th hole during the scramble in the first round. This time, he holed out from 96 yards on the par-4 seventh hole to give the Australian duo command of the unofficial event at Tiburón Golf Club.
Defending champions Harris English and Matt Kuchar, were still in the mix for a fourth title at the QBE Shootout. They had a 66 and were tied for second with the teams of Jason Kokrak and Kevin Na, and Billy Horschel and Sam Burns.
Jason Day and Marc Leishman had 12 birdies, two eagles and finished one shot short of the record for the scramble format, posting a 16-under 56 that gave the Australian duo a one-shot lead Friday in the QBE Shootout.Day is making his first start in the unofficial event since he teamed with Cameron Tringale to win in 2014. Leishman played last year with Cameron Smith.
They were one shot ahead of Corey Conners and Graeme McDowell and the defending champions, Harris English and Matt Kuchar. They are trying to become the first team to win back-to-back in 17 years. Lexi Thompson, the only LPGA Tour player in the field, teamed with two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson for a 59.

(December 6, 2021) – For the 21st consecutive year, the QBE Shootout comes to Tiburon Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples and 24 individuals will compete as 12 two-man teams. The event is celebrating its 33rd year on the PGA TOUR calendar. The tournament is the longest running PGA TOUR-sanctioned post-season event.
The field includes 11 players who won last season or the early part of this year’s PGA TOUR season. This group of players combined for ten total victories and includes: Sam Burns, Harris English, Max Homa, Billy Horschel, Matt Jones, Kevin Kisner, Jason Kokrak, K.H. NAPLES, FL. (November 30, 2021) – Steve Stricker has withdrawn from next week’s QBE Shootout due to a nagging, non-covid related virus and will be replaced by Will Zalatoris, who will be paired with Sean O’Hair.
This will be Zalatoris’ first appearance in the QBE Shootout. He is one of five players in the field for the first time. The Wake Forest standout started last season with no TOUR status but earned membership on the strength of eight top ten finishes and was voted by his peers Rookie of the Year. The California native is currently ranked #32 in the world.

The 33rd edition of the Shootout will feature nine new teams competing for the $3.6 million purse. The three returning teams include defending champions Harris English and Matt Kuchar, a team that has claimed victory at the Shootout in 2013, 2016 and 2020, Ryan Palmer and Harold Varner III as well as Sean O’Hair and Steve Stricker, the 2017 champions.
